The ProSys LVF-MT22 Semiautomatic Bottle Filler is a dual head filler for metering low viscosity materials into a dual barrel bottle to be sealed with a dual pump head. A PLC controls the filling machine operation while the solenoid valves supply air to the pneumatic devices at each station. An HMI provides information and alarm messages to the operator and allows the operator to select options and tune the machine for certain product variables.

The ProSys LVF-MT22 Semiautomatic Bottle Filler is a dual head filler for metering low viscosity materials into a dual barrel bottle to be sealed with a dual pump head


System Description:

  • Cone Hopper: The product to be filled is stored and fed from a cone hopper that is mounted on the fill station.
  • Surge Tank: The fill station uses a surge tank for the material feed.
  • Bottle Handling: Operator manually loads empty containers into the bottle rack and places the rack onto the guide rails ensuring to lock the fist holder over the indexing clips. The rack is slid along the rails to be filled and capped.
  • Machine Indexing: The mounting racks have holes locating the correct position for positive location of the bottle to the stations. The rack is indexed along the slide plate by an air cylinder and clips that catch the mounting bolts for each holder. When the rack ls in the correct position a stop air cylinder on each end of the slide plate will extend, locking the rack Into position for each station. 
  • Fill Station: At the Bottle Cleaning Station, the first bane! Is vacuumed and blasted with nitrogen. At Filling Station #1, the diving nozzle plunges into the barrel and dispenses product as it simultaneously retracts from the container. The container is blasted with nitrogen a second time before it moves to Fill Station #2 where the process is repeated to the second barrel. Once both barrels are filled the container moves to the Pump Head insertion station where the dual pump heads are inserted into the container. Once the containers exit Fill Station #2 the caps can be manually fitted to the containers.
